KIEV, 18 Jul – RIA Novosti. The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said about the need to repay arrears of wages to doctors in the near future, this was discussed at the traditional meeting on combating coronavirus, reports the press service of the President’s office.
Earlier Zelensky has signed the law on ensuring additional social and economic guarantees in connection with the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19 in Ukraine. The law specifically provides for an additional payment of up to 300% of their salaries to physicians and other workers involved in the treatment of patients COVID-19, and employees of social protection of the population, providing services to citizens in your home, up to 100% of salary.
According to the latest data of the Ministry of health, the total number of cases of coronavirus infection in Ukraine has reached 5106 people, 978 of whom are employees of the medical sphere.
