The presidents of Ukraine and France Vladimir Zelensky and Emmanuel macron held telephone talks, during which discussed the fight against coronavirus and the situation in the Donbass.

It is noted that Zelensky and macron agreed with the need for close coordination of efforts to overcome the effects of a pandemic and the recovery in economic activity.
Also, the Ukrainian President informed his French colleague about the negotiations of Kiev with the IMF on the start of a new program of cooperation of IMF with Ukraine.
“particular attention was paid to the situation in the East of Ukraine and the state of implementation of the agreements reached during the Paris summit in Normandy format”, — stated in the message.
Earlier in Ukraine the number of people infected with coronavirus has exceeded 9 thousand.
