Russian journalist semen Pegov and his colleagues Dmitry Lisenko and Anton Starks, freed in Belarus will be delivered to the Russian Embassy in Minsk. Then will decide about sending them in Smolensk, said in a broadcast YouTube-channel “Soloviev LIVE” official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
“In these minutes, taking three of our journalists from the place where they were kept and taken to our Embassy. There they rest,” — said Zakharov.
She also noted that begs the question, why the Russian correspondents, the time has not accredited for covering the elections in Belarus.
Pegov was harshly detained for a protest in Minsk against the results of presidential elections in Belarus. He was placed in the Center for isolation of offenders. Whether he’s facing any charges, is still unknown.
Along with him were detained and beaten journalists of the Daily Storm during Lesenko and Anton stark, and spetskorr “Medusa” Maxim Solopova. It was reported that Solopov was very badly beaten. No communication with him for several hours.
