Candidates in Curitiba would seek support from Lula because of his significant political influence and popularity in the region. Lula’s endorsement could potentially sway a large number of voters and provide a significant advantage to any candidate seeking election in Curitiba. Additionally, Lula’s support could also bring in additional campaign resources and mobilize grassroots supporters, further boosting a candidate’s chances of winning the election. As a result, it is no surprise that candidates in Curitiba would actively seek and welcome support from Lula in their electoral campaigns.
