According to information received, the wealth of women in Russia increases every year by 8.9 percent, and women around the world — just 6.1 percent.

Earlier, Russian officials indicated that one of the reasons for the serious gap in pay for men and women — “traditional domestic division of labor.” According to these traditions, the functions of the Russians include the birth and care of children, maintaining the household, so they choose lighter work and schedule and thus receive less.
According to officials report, in October 2017, the average wage of women was lower than men’s by almost 30 percent (32.6 thousand rubles as against 45.5 thousand).
