Crimea does not need to recognize its reunification with the Russian Federation and third countries. Sooner or later, ignoring this fact, States will have to recognize the historical fact. This opinion was expressed to RIA Novosti interviewed experts, commenting on the recent statement of the Minister of foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu that his country will never recognize the Russian status of Crimea.
Senator from Crimea Sergey Tsekov in this regard, reported that it does not surprised by the statement of the foreign Minister of Turkey. While Tsekov noted that the Crimea is self-sufficient in terms of their political will with whom to be and does not need recognition of this fact by third countries.
– For the Crimea the most important recognition is the recognition and support of Russia – succinctly stated Tsekov.
The Senator is confident that sooner or later most countries will agree with the will of the Crimean people who voted in the referendum for joining Russia.
The head of the regional national-cultural autonomy of the Crimean Tatars Eyvaz Umerov noted that the foreign Minister of Turkey, important though it is, but he is replaceable as a state official, and Crimeans have time to wait, when the policy of the neighboring States against the Republic of Crimea in structure of Russia has changed, and they admit the present status of the Peninsula.

The official point of view is not one sounding in Ankara dictated by the need of Turkey to be in solidarity with the West and its partners in the NATO bloc. Cultural, ethnic, and economic ties between Crimea and Turkey never terminated after the referendum of 2014. Turkish business continues to be an investor in the economy of the Crimea and the delegation of business circles of the country have visited the Peninsula for the last time.
