Amid the rising tensions in U.S.-Ukrainian relations from “Ukrayina”, the author draws attention to a letter from U.S. diplomats, the current Kiev authorities. In his opinion, if Zelensky will not catch signals from Washington, the relations between the two countries will have serious problems.
After the Ukrainian media reported about the unspoken signals from the state Department, us diplomats have explained to the Ukrainian colleagues, what disastrous consequences may result from the intervention of the office of Vladimir Zelensky in the election campaign in the US — Americans went to public signals, a rather rare instrument in bilateral relations
The first such explicit signal, the collective letter of the former us ambassadors in Ukraine. Signed by all who could, except the second Ambassador William Miller and the eighth of Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt, who is now working with the head of the U.S. diplomatic mission in Greece.
