Speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin Ukrainian politicians threatened with extradition to Russia of the Crimea. He was commenting on the adoption in first reading of the draft law on the protection of the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation, reports owned by Grigory Berezkin RBC.
According to him, illegal statements “backfire” all, “whether it’s Ukraine or the Baltics, or the United States of America.”
Earlier Volodin said that Russian politicians allow themselves to calls to give Russian territory.
The head of the Duma security Committee Vasily Piskarev has confirmed that in the case of adoption law, Russian law enforcement agencies to prosecute foreigners for statements about the alienation of part of the territory of Russia.
According to the draft law, for public calls to give, for example, Crimea, Kaliningrad, the Kuril Islands threatened with the penalty to 300 thousand roubles or imprisonment for the term up to four years. For the violation of the territorial integrity of the country is provided from six to ten years of imprisonment.
