State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin called the policy of double standards, the introduction of labeling of accounts of state bodies and media on Twitter.

According to Volodina, such actions are an example of manifestation of the policy of double standards.
“Why such labeling is not the account of the “Radio Freedom”* that is financed from the state budget and reflects the official position of state Department? This is a direct attempt to introduce readers and users of social networks in the mistake,” he said.
Earlier administration of RT Twitter said markings designating the channel as a “state edition”.
