According to him, now the climate map of the country looks like “war of the North against the South.” In the Northern part of the observed abnormally high temperature, much higher than the climate norm. For example, in the North of Yakutia the standard was exceeded on 12 to 16 degrees. Before the end of this week and early next, the thermometer will show from 21 to 30 degrees.
But closer to South – temperate latitudes and in the South Asian territory temperature, on the contrary, below normal. The same applies to the European part of the country, said Vilfand. If East of Arkhangelsk and Komi, the air is warmed to 26 degrees, in Moscow – only to 20.

Also under the influence of an anticyclone turned out to be and the Asian side, but there he settled down over the sea of Okhotsk. The heat from the anticyclone moves towards the North-East, together with the flow of the atmosphere, which is shaped like a mountain spur.
