The American system of government will be “burned” if the authorities fail to meet the demands of the protesters against racial discrimination in the country, said in an interview with Fox News channel, head of the new York branch of the organization Black Lives Matter (BLM) hawk Newsome. The activist called on journalists to interpret his words figuratively, and literally.
Newsom’s statement was made in response to a request to comment on his statement in which he justified the violent struggle for the rights of African Americans in the United States. He stressed that in the United States system of government was originally built on the use of force, so accusations of excessive inclination of the BLM activists to violence at the least hypocritical. While Newsom cited the example of US policy in modern history: according to him, the us administration interferes in the Affairs of other countries, undermining regimes and promotes leaders that he likes.
“If this country does not give us what we want, we will burn this system and replace it”, – stated the activist.
He noted that his words could be interpreted “as figuratively and literally.” In summary, Newsome said it is committed to establish in the country a “black democracy at any cost.”
