The first test flight of a manned spacecraft Crew Dragon will be held on may 27, announced on Friday, the Director of NASA, Jim Breidenstein.
"the Twenty-seventh of may, the U.S. astronauts once again will start the American rocket with an American earth", – wrote in his Twitter Breidenstein.
The upcoming flight will be the first manned launch of the us space Shuttle in 2011.
Earlier it was reported that the first flight test of the Crew Dragon spacecraft to the International space station (ISS) will carry astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken. Manned spacecraft will orbit also owned by SpaceX rocket Falcon 9.
Informed Crew Dragon made an unmanned test flight to the ISS, was also successfully tested the emergency evacuation of the crew in the event of an accidental missile launch.
