at the beginning of July 2019, it came in the area of Jena-Ost (Schlegel Berg), a serious sexual offence.
A previously unknown man rang the bell, the 82-year-old, living alone woman and claimed to be employees of your nursing service. He gained access to the apartment. Then he raped her. The perpetrators fled afterwards. In the context of the investigation could not be ruled out that the man is an employee of the concerned nursing service.
a Similar Offence in Jena in February 2017
In February 2017, a similar Offence in the area of Jena-West (Luther road) occurred already. An unknown man rang the doorbell at the residential address of a then-87-year-old, also living alone woman. Under the pretext of being employees of a social service, is the man access to the apartment of the woman. Also in this case, it came then to the sexual Assault. The perpetrators fled afterwards.
The investigators assume that there is a connection between the two actions exists. In spite of intensive investigations, the perpetrator is not yet known. It is not excluded that further Assaults took place, which so far, possibly out of shame – not reported.
The offender was described as follows:
- Central European appearance
- The criminal investigation is asking about 30 – 50 years old
- approx. 1,80 m tall, slim / normal figure
- dark hair, partially
- gray speaks native dialect
