The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky has signed the law on mass testing of citizens to the coronavirus. Information about it published by the press service of the head of state.
Testing will be mandatory for people who seek medical care with signs of coronavirus or contact with infected. Also it will hold the employees of medical facilities, members of the police and the National guard.
The law comes into force from the day of its publication and will remain in effect for another two months after the lifting of quarantine and restrictive measures.
As of may 15, the country recorded 17 330 laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus, the last day identified 483. Since the beginning of the epidemic died on 476 patients, recovered 4 473. From the beginning, the community health Center received 43 842 reports of suspected coronavirus.
