The Israeli intelligence officer said about the Moscow trap for the West in Belarus.
Live in tel-Aviv channel ITON.TV military-political expert Yaakov Kedmi (former head of the secret service of Israel, “Nativ”) announced that Washington, Warsaw and Kiev have tried to replicate in Belarus the Ukrainian scenario 2014.
Kedmi admitted that Belarus is not a foreign country, his grandfather lived in Katyn, and my grandmother – a native of Lyakhavichy.
He described Belarus as “post-Soviet state, which managed to preserve all the positive elements of the Soviet past.”
According to Kedmi, to the current complex situation is largely a hand in Lukashenka himself.
“Lukashenko was sure that Russia has nowhere to go, and decided to flirt a little with Western friends, who hinted that if the man is flexible, he will forgive all his sins,” – said the expert.
According to him, negative statements Lukashenko in the direction of Russia, attempts to flirt with the West has led to what many in the West thought, why not repeat the Ukrainian scenario?
“And just began to repeat all the main cards. This focus on demonstration of ecstatic childish youth who knows nothing and does not understand the organization of certain groups. Then appeared the Ukrainian comrades, idiotic planning of the operation (with the permission of the USA) – “operation with 33 heroes, supposedly the group of Wagner,” – said Kedmi.
According to him, professionals from the intelligence, “it was absolutely clear that it was a lime.” And the President of Belarus didn’t understand what “throw like it sucker”.
Countries opponents of Russia in the end set up against Lukashenko himself. They buried the slightest chance to his defection in their camp. At the same time Belarus was pushed in the direction of Russia. So the West was in “the Moscow trap.”
“I Decided to play the Belarusian variant, but have painted themselves into a corner, and Lukashenko too. What now? Now they have to defend the opposition, to impose sanctions. They need to save face. And to impose sanctions, they will encourage the authorities of Belarus to Russia”, – summed up Kedmi.
He noted that the West destroyed the last chance for good relations with Belarus.
