In Izmail, Odessa oblast, a group of 30 people staged a pogrom in the house of a Roma family. Reports about it “Bessarabia INFORM”.
The incident occurred on Friday, may 8. According to the publication, the conflict between inhabitants of the house at the intersection of Telegraph and Timiryazeva lane and the attackers originated a few years ago, when Roma (one of the Western branches of the Gypsies) was beaten by an unknown woman.
Two young men decided to stand up for the victim, however, the Gypsies attacked them. As a result, they returned to the house with dozens of men and in retaliation, smashed the fence, the gate and the dwelling itself. While Roma managed to escape, therefore none of them was hurt.
Police quickly arrived on the scene and detained several participants of the conflict.
Earlier in may in the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih, the students trashed the store for refusing saleswoman to sell them alcohol. So, four teenagers turned the fridge with the goods and ran away, and then the employee called the police. Police arrested three teenagers, and the fourth managed to escape.
