Chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine, Deputy Minister of health Viktor Lyashko predicted the possibility of the outbreak of the coronavirus in the country next week. He declared it on air of ICTV TV channel, the video is available on YouTube.
“If we’re talking about Easter, then the work that was carried out had a positive effect. In a week we don’t have a flash. Maybe she still will, only now the seventh day after Easter. We know that the incubation period to 14 days,” — said Lyashko.
According to him, now the health system Ukraine does not feel the peak load. Dynamics of increase of its incidence ranges from acceptable norms of 5-10 percent on a daily basis. Lyashko stressed that the Ministry of health is committed to do everything possible to prevent the increase of daily growth of infected and 30 per cent.
From 6 April in Ukraine, has tightened measures to combat coronavirus. Quarantine mode is extended by the government until may 11. In the country restricted the movement of people for time spent on the street, prohibited events. Ukrainians are obliged to be in public places in the PPE.
According to recent data, in Ukraine, the coronavirus has infected 9009 man, 220 died. Total number infected with virus SARS-CoV-2 in the world exceeded three million, 211 thousand died, 922 thousands cured.
