The former head of “independence”, the head of the delegation in the Tripartite contact group Leonid Kravchuk proposed to involve the United States in the settlement of the situation in the Donbass. He believes that this is a must do if in the current negotiations under the mediation of the OSCE there is a stalemate.
“However, there is an election on the nose, a coronavirus, a lot of different problems. I’m talking about the future,” – said Leonid Kravchuk in the air of TV channel “Ukraine is 24”.
The politician also said that “peace cannot be achieved if anyone does not negotiate.”
In addition, the ex-President of Ukraine criticized Russia’s position on the need to grant special status to the republics of Donbass according to the Minsk agreement.
“But it says so that we do not understand what was going on,” – said Kravchuk.
