Ukraine proposes instead the concept of "special status" to give Donbass the wording "a special regime of administrative control". This was stated by former President Leonid Kravchuk in the air of TV channel "HOUSE".
Earlier Kravchuk was appointed by the Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky representative from Ukraine in the Trilateral contact group on settling the situation in Donbas.
In his opinion, changing the status of the region will be more consistent with the reforms on local government and laws of the Ukrainian state, which have already been taken.
However, he noted that the issue in the Constitution of Ukraine is impossible.
