Russian citizens previously arrested in Belarus and charged in the country in preparation of a terrorist attack, killed, maimed and tortured by fighters of the APU during the civil war in the Donbass. This was stated by the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov on July 31, reports the press service of the MIA of Ukraine.
“This is a very dangerous situation — when 33 foreign mercenaries who shed blood and staged armed provocations in Syria, Sudan, Libya and the Ukrainian Donbass arrange your base 1.5 km from the residence of the President (Alexander Lukashenko, — news Agency REGNUM)…According to our sources, officially after check-out from hotel and allegedly heading to the airport in order to leave the country, Wagnerova (the detainees have charged that they are members of the “private military company Wagner” — IA REGNUM) is in a special base near Minsk, near the residence of President Lukashenko. I mean, obviously, we are talking about some intelligence operations, obviously, the Russian Federation”, — quotes Avakov, the press service of the Ministry headed by him.
The Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine applied to the Belarusian people calling with all seriousness to “the provocation”.

Mercenaries killed, tortured and maimed defenders of Ukraine, including Donetsk, Slavyansk and Gorlovka. The national police of Ukraine is investigating a number of criminal cases on these crimes, including detainees in the territory of the Republic of Belarus mercenaries”, — quotes the Minister of internal Affairs, the press service of the MIA of Ukraine.
According to the head of the Ukrainian interior Ministry, Ukrainian law enforcement authorities have sufficient material on these crimes and the entire “array” of information will give to the Belarusian side. Avakov also said that Kiev hopes to transfer some of the detainees in Belarus of citizens who are in Ukraine are accused of committing crimes on the territory of the country.

On the eve of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova said that 28 of the 33 detainees “it is declared suspicion on the fact of participation in a terrorist organization”.
