In Ukraine the number of supporters of quarantine restrictions during a pandemic coronavirus dropped from 72 percent to 54 percent. These are the results of the fourth wave of the survey of the company “Research & Branding Group”, held from 18 to 24 April, reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.
76 percent of respondents generally support the government’s decision to extend the quarantine until may 12. But 42 percent said that is not ready for longer restrictions. 59% of Ukrainians believe that the peak of the epidemic in the country is found. The proportion of respondents who are afraid to be infected by the coronavirus or worried about loved ones, fell from 40 percent to 29 percent.
The number of Ukrainians who do not have savings for the period of quarantine has increased from 39 percent to 47 percent. Just over half of respondents (51 percent) said the decline in income of their families. In addition, 13 percent reported that they had difficulty with timely payment of bills for utility services, mobile communications, and so on.
According to recent data, in Ukraine, the coronavirus has infected 8617 people, 209 patients died.
