Verkhovna Rada Deputy, leader of the party “Fatherland” Yulia Tymoshenko told about a surprise to the citizens the decision of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. She announced this on air of channel “112 Ukraine”.
According to her, the country took a decision on 7 per cent increase in gas prices. The Deputy noted that the decision taken by authority that is subject Zelensky, at the same time, the MP said she did not expect that will happen this situation.
Tymoshenko added that the market price of natural gas, on the contrary, have decreased significantly since the beginning of the year to 56.3 from and 148.3 dollars per thousand cubic meters of gas, according to its assessment. According to the politician, the actions of the Kiev authorities, “moronic”.
The MP said that under the presidency of Petro Poroshenko was created intermediary companies that they controlled and passed through the gas, “screw the price” and then sold the gas people three times more expensive. As noted Tymoshenko, from Zelensky she was expecting a refusal charge. “Unfortunately, remained the same intermediaries in Europe”, she concluded.
Therefore, according to Tymoshenko, the country with the lowest wages in Europe and the highest rates people live, unable to buy food.
Earlier, the head of “Naftogaz” Andrey KOBOLEV warned that Russian gas transit to Europe through Ukraine may cease due to the activity of Yulia Tymoshenko. In the lawsuit of Verkhovna Rada deputies from the faction “Batkivshchyna” is required to recognize the unconstitutional selection of the operator of the gas transportation system of “Naftogaz”, which took place on 1 January 2020 and became part of the transaction with “Gazprom”.
