The latest films by Quebec filmmakers Denis Côté and Erik K. Boulianne are among the works that will be presented at the Locarno Film Festival, which has just unveiled its programming.

Starring Larissa Corriveau, the feature film Mademoiselle Kenopsia by Denis Côté will have its world premiere as part of the event to be held in Switzerland from August 2 to 12. The film is entered in the Fuori Concorso section.

The filmmaker is a regular at the festival where he presented several of his films, including Wilcox, in 2019, and Your skin so smooth, in 2017.

The short film Faire un enfant by Eric K. Boulianne (Little brother, PRANK) will be in official competition in the Pardi Di Domani section.

The film follows the ups and downs of a couple trying to start a family after several years of dating.

This is the director’s first appearance in Locarno.
