Turkey plans to start accepting foreign tourists since mid-June. About this on air of the TV company NTV said the Minister of culture and tourism of the Turkish Republic Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.
According to him, the authorities developed a certification program for hotels from the point of view of the norms of sanitary safety which will apply to some EU countries. The certification program includes regular checking of hotels, monitoring the health of tourists and staff wearing masks and compliance with social distancing. Ersoy said that the government had closed the hotels, and they suspended their work because of the suspension of the activities of air carriers and the number of restrictive measures related to the pandemic.
