President Donald trump said the “sad milestone” after the United States reported more than 100 thousands of deaths due to the new coronavirus by sending “condolence message” to those who lost friends and family members, Fox News reports.
“We have just reached a very sad milestone, when the mortality from the pandemic coronavirus has reached 100 thousand people,” wrote trump. “To all the families and friends of those who left, I wish to Express my sincere sympathy. God is with you!”
As of the morning of 28 may, the US reported more than 1.7 million positive cases COVID-19 and over 100 440 deaths, according to the estimates of the Johns Hopkins University.
In the United States was more deaths from coronavirus, than in any other country, although analysts often question the amount of diseases and deaths registered in other countries.
