WASHINGTON, April 10 — RIA Novosti. the US President Donald trump said that he held “good” conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi king Salman, in his words, OPEC+ close to an agreement to reduce oil production to stabilize world prices.
“we had a very good conversation. Let’s see what happens. As you know, OPEC met today. I’d say they are close to (the conclusion) of the transaction. We’ll soon know,” said trump on press conference.

“We have created a wonderful energy business in the United States. We have tens of thousands of jobs,” the President added.
Earlier the Wall Street Journal reported that all OPEC+ agreed with the terms of the new deal to reduce oil production. According to RIA Novosti, the parties to the agreement plan to reduce production at ten million barrels per day in may-June. At the same time Moscow and Riyadh in this period will be required to produce not more than 8.8 million barrels a day.
According to sources of Reuters, during the negotiations of the OPEC countries have expressed the wish to not the contained members such as USA, Canada, Norway and Brazil, have reduced total oil production by five million barrels per day.
