(London) An alleged victim of Kevin Spacey has told how the American star put his head on her genitals and sexually assaulted her while she was asleep, during the actor’s trial in London which continues on Monday.
The 63-year-old star, who has been on trial since late June, pleaded not guilty to 12 charges of sexual assault on four men between 2001 and 2013, including from 2004 when he was director of London’s Old Vic theatre.
The fourth alleged victim, a man who cannot be identified for legal reasons, told police in an interview shown to jurors on Monday how he met the Oscar-winning actor after writing him a letter asked for help to break into the cinema.
Kevin Spacey then invited him to his house and the two men ate “leftover pizza” and “smoked cannabis”.
The alleged victim then recounted how the actor “started rubbing his head on my genitals.” The plaintiff explained that he left it to the actor because “you don’t want to upset someone so powerful in the industry you’re trying to break into.”
He also said he fell asleep for a few hours and woke up with his fly open. “He had just performed (a sexual act) on me,” the complainant explained.
“None of what happened was consensual. »
Faced with the alleged victim’s expressed refusal after waking up, Kevin Spacey asked him to leave immediately and not tell anyone what had happened, according to the complainant.
The trial started at the end of June before the Southwark Crown Court in London. None of the four victims had denounced the actor before the outbreak of the movement
The first three complainants have already testified and recounted how Kevin Spacey assaulted them and the difficulties in denouncing the behavior of such a star.
Kevin Spacey, who appears free, denied the accusations, saying some were made up and other acts were consensual.
The trial of the American actor, twice Oscar winner for his roles in American Beauty and Usual Suspects should last a month.
