As of Saturday, may 16, at the hospital in Kommunarka for treatment are 272 patient. This was announced by the chief doctor of the medical institution Denis Protsenko.
According to statistics published on its Facebook page, 264 patients treated for community-acquired pneumonia, coronavirus was diagnosed in 116 people.
More than half of the patients in the hospital, 59 percent, are in serious condition. While 57 per cent who are treated in hospital, is suspected of coronavirus.
It is also reported that 19 patients in the ICU are on ventilators. Of these, 67 percent of people older than 60 years.
