BVB is said to be about to sign its Haaland successor. Those responsible are eyeing a former Frankfurt star – with good reason.

Haller as a Haaland replacement: Sebastien Haller is to switch from Ajax Amsterdam to Borussia Dortmund. This is reported by the “kicker”, citing Dutch media. Haller should close the hole that Erling Haaland tore into BVB’s striker when he moved to Manchester City.

Short, compact, clear

Haller offers the right player profile: Haller fits Dortmund’s requirements profile. At 27, the native Frenchman is in the prime of footballing age. He already knows the Bundesliga from his time at Eintracht Frankfurt. And he proved his finishing qualities in the Champions League last year (11 goals in eight games).

Transfer nearing completion? The transfer should be as good as decided. Haller definitely wants to switch to the black and yellow. Dortmund made an offer of 33 million for the 27-year-old at Ajax. An early agreement is therefore considered likely.
