Leeds United see themselves further ahead in the race for Rasmus Kristensen from FC Red Bull Salzburg than co-interested Borussia Dortmund. The Premier League club are optimistic, one factor could be the coaching position.
Interest from Leeds and Dortmund: The management of Leeds United is confident about the contract negotiations with Rasmus Kristensen from FC Red Bull Salzburg. Although the Austrians are said to have come to terms with the departure of the 24-year-old in January, the Whites still have to assert themselves against their competitor Borussia Dortmund.
Dream candidate because of two failures: According to “The Athletic”, one of Kristensen’s commitments is the desired transfer from Leeds. One reason for this is that Luke Ayling and Stuart Dallas, who are currently absent due to injury, are on the pitch at right-back, as is the Danish international.
Kristensen and Marsch know each other: Leeds doesn’t seem to have a bad chance against BVB in exchange poker for Kristensen. He has worked for two seasons with then Salzburg coach and current United head coach Jesse Marsch.
