“Last Generation” activists showed up at the EU Parliament and showed off their bare chests.

Almost three weeks before the European elections, the “Last Generation” demonstrated in the European Parliament in Brussels. Several activists protested in the plenary hall. They exposed their naked torsos with the words “Climate Crisis – Fascism – Extinction – Death” written on them.

The aim is to take the protest to parliament. This “election promise” will be implemented before the election.

Lina Johnsen, the political association’s top candidate and participant in the demonstration, said in a statement quoted by “Blick.ch”: “We are revealing the failure of politics, right here in the EU Parliament. The crises are escalating and this Parliament is incapable of even recognizing the reality.”

And further: “Our protest today is just a foretaste.” The activists have been in Brussels since Tuesday to draw attention to the failure of Parliament and the candidacy. This is followed by an announcement:  “Next week we will continue with the ‘campaign election week’”.
