The Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky called the error the decision of Georgia to recall its Ambassador over the appointment of Mikhail Saakashvili. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
“Rambler” wrote that earlier the foreign Minister of Georgia David Zalkaliani said that the appointment of former President Mikheil Saakashvili as head of the Executive Committee of the national Council of reforms of Ukraine became the reason for the recall of the Ambassador. He also reminded Saakashvili of Georgia “convicted and wanted”.
“I think this is a mistake by the Georgian side. It seems to me that after consulting all parties will understand that in each country the personnel policy for the country and those citizens who live in this country,” said Zelensky.
He also stressed that Ukraine and Georgia “a great relationship” and the Ukrainian Ambassador will not be withdrawn from Tbilisi.
