Moscow and Moscow oblast became the leaders by the number of offenses in the tax sphere, said the Deputy head of the Investigative Committee of Russia the General-Colonel Elena Leonenko.
She explained that the number of criminal cases in 2019, took the lead in Moscow (228), Moscow region (152), Krasnodar region (133), Stavropol Krai (108) and Rostov oblast (96).
the representative of the Ministry stressed that almost the same regions lead the ranking in number of criminal cases sent to court, and the amount of damages.
Such “leadership” can be explained by population and economic potential of the regions: “the leader there will always be major economic regions,” said Leonenko.
