Borussia Dortmund’s search for a Haaland replacement is in full swing. BVB should be particularly interested in VfB Stuttgart star Sasa Kalajdzic – but other candidates are also coming into focus.
Kalajdzic soon on Haaland’s position? Borussia Dortmund is still looking for a successor for striker Erling Haaland, who will play for Manchester City from the new season. According to “Transfermarkt”, Sasa Kalajdzic from VfB Suttgart should have the best chances. However, the 24-year-old Austrian has recently been associated with FC Bayern Munich more often.
Short, compact, clear
20 million euros, but profile does not fit: Some other potential transfers do not fit BVB’s profile, including Amine Gouiri from OGC Nice or Moussa Dembélé from Olympique Lyon. According to the “Ruhr Nachrichten”, the latter would be available for 20 million euros.
No release or too expensive: A change from Ajax Amsterdam player Sébastien Haller to the black and yellow seems rather unlikely. His coach shouldn’t want to let him go like that. Gianluca Scamacca from US Sassuolo also doesn’t seem to be an alternative to Kaldjzic due to his transfer fee of at least 40 million euros.
