The staff of the English primary school in Middlesbrough reprimanded the parents of students for appearing outside the institution in an inappropriate way and asked them to wear decent clothes. The corresponding material is published by Teesside Live.
According to the publication, the administration of the Ayresome educational institution has published an appeal to parents on Facebook asking them to wear decent clothes when they drive their children to school. “We ask all parents and guardians to dress appropriately when disembarking and collecting children from the educational institution. It is unacceptable to appear in the school yard in pajamas and dressing gowns,” read the entry, which spread on the Internet.
The man, who wished to remain anonymous, cursed adults and told Teesside Live journalists that he regularly observes similar behavior on their part. “I’m sick of it. Is it really so hard to get dressed in the morning? Imagine how their children will be ridiculed in high school. It seems disgusting to many parents,” he said.
Aimee Baker’s parent confirmed the man’s words, saying that this has been going on for more than 10 years. “My eldest son is now 17 years old. When he first entered here, many parents appeared on the territory in home clothes. They are local, they don’t care,” she added.
“Moms should not come to school in pajamas. This is nightwear, why go out in it during the day? Children will think that this is normal and will start repeating after adults,” shared another woman who wished to remain anonymous.
The journalists of the publication contacted the school management for comments.
In September, the Minister of Culture of the Crimea came to the school lineup in a translucent suit. Arina Novoselskaya congratulated the students of the Simferopol Makarenko Lyceum school on the Day of Knowledge in a white pantsuit made of translucent fabric with lace. Parents of lyceum students criticized the inappropriate appearance of the official.
