Polish producer of dairy products “Mlekovita” has denied the information of Russian mass media, according to which the head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert extorted from the management of the company a bribe. Reported by Business Insider Poland.
In a statement available for publication, it is stated that the Chairman of the management Board Dariusz Sapinski never met and had no contact with Dankvert. Also refuted the demand of the Minister a bribe of half a million dollars for the removal of restrictions on the supply of dairy products from Poland to Russia.
Previously, REN TV reported that the Polish businessman accused Dankvert extortion. According to the channel, the police asked the President of the company “Mlekovita”. He allegedly claims that the money he demanded in exchange for the lifting of restrictions on supplies to Russia.
Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that it is unknown how reliable this information is.
“Imagine this is very difficult. But if indeed the statement was in law enforcement, this information will be checked”, — he said.
