June 19 – Eclipse (cover) Venus by the Moon in daylight visibility in Russia at 12:00. June 21 – an annular Eclipse of the Sun (maximum phase 0,994 at 9:40 Moscow time, Africa, Asia, China, Pacific ocean). Private phase of the Eclipse will be observed on the territory of Russia”, – stated in the message.
In the Moscow planetarium reminded that on June 21 there will come a astronomical summer.
“At the summer solstice June will delight us with the highest Sun and longest light day of the year. On 21 June, the duration of daylight in Moscow will be 17 hours and 33 minutes. In the Subpolar latitudes of the Northern hemisphere the long-awaited white nights, but in the Arctic – a polar day,” – said the press service.
