Acting Governor of Khabarovsk Krai Mikhail Degtyarev said he would dismiss regional Ministers, if they will not be able to competently use attracted from the Federal budget. On Monday reported the press service of the regional government.

This is necessary in order to develop the accounting of opinions of citizens when making decisions. People need to understand where and what we build," – the press service quoted Degtyareva.
The head of the region on Monday held hardware meeting with heads of Executive authorities of the region, where they discussed the budget performance for the first half of 2020. Degtyarev instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to intensify work on cost optimization and attraction of additional financial assistance to the regional budget.
Special attention was paid to attraction of Federal funds in the Treasury of the province. The region in the first half were transferred from the Federal budget of 18.7 billion roubles. This amount is almost twice more than in 2019. Major funds were allocated for implementing national projects on the territory of Khabarovsk Krai. To combat the coronavirus, the region received just over 4 billion rubles. These funds went to the equipment of hospital beds, personal protective equipment, incentive payments and other medical workers, social benefits, etc.
According to the acting Minister of Finance of edge Valentine Kostyshina, from the beginning of year the regional budget revenues amounted to 63.5 billion rubles, which is higher by 7.4% compared to the same period last year. Despite the fact that in this period there was an increase in costs, the government has fulfilled all social obligations.

In June, the region received the first tranche of Federal funds in the amount of 1.7 billion rubles to compensate for the declining revenues of the regional budget. This will help to balance the consolidated budget of the region, partially reducing the impact of the current economic situation.
