The Red Rooms, Pascal Plante’s third feature film, will open the 27th edition of the Fantasia International Film Festival on July 20.
The film, which stars Juliette Gariépy and Laurie Babin, tells the unhealthy obsession of two young women for the trial of a murderer.
The Festival also announced on Thursday the addition of new titles to its programming such as Talk to Me, the Philippou twins, Ireland notebook blue, a new film by Quebecois Olivier Godin, Vincent must die, by Frenchman Stéphan Castang and Sympathy for the Devil, d ‘Yval Adler, with Nicolas Cage and Joel Kinnaman. Among the other Quebec works that will be presented, let us highlight Richelieu, by Pier-Philippe Chevigny, starring Ariane Castellanos and Marc-André Grondin.
Fantasia will be held from July 20 to August 9.
