the Season in the VTB United League was suspended on 27 March due to pandemic coronavirus. The leadership of the League decided that the champion and prize-winners this season will not determine. Since the RFB delegated to United League the right to host the championship of Russia, it should determine the winner. The Executive Committee of the RBF only approved the submission to the League.

Previously, the decision to cancel the season was made by the leadership of the Euroleague. Three of the Russian club playing in this tournament this season with CSKA, “Khimki” and “Zenith” will represent Russia in this competition next season.
