Educational-tourism project of the Moscow Committee for tourism, the “City of discovery” will be presented in the second stage of the international festival of Geek Picnic Online, devoted to science and technology. Events on the virtual stand will be held from 6 to 8 August.
Participants can expect presentations, workshops, lectures, virtual tours and much more. Guests will learn about the eight educational areas of the “City of discovery”, through which students from Russia and foreign countries explore Moscow.
a Separate direction will be the environment. The staff of the environmental education center “Ekoskola Kuskovo”, environmental center “Sparrow hills” and other organizations will talk about the latest eco-trends and useful ecorepackage.
on the second day of the festival at the stand of the “City of discoveries”, it will be possible to attend interactive classes on the creative industries. Representatives of the “Soyuzmultfilm” will hold an online lesson on animation, and the specialists of “Technograd” and children’s Park “Caliber” — workshops on the development of virtual content.
on 8 August will be held an online session of the it direction. Participants will be able to know what technologies are used today to design spacecraft, to master the skills of 3D animation and to design the spacecraft. Workshops will be conducted by experts in the field of modern technologies, including teachers of the children’s Park “science city”.

Geek Picnic Online online project popular science festival.
