The defense Ministry of Belarus said that the Belarusian officers have declared their support of the head of the country Alexander Lukashenko in the presidential election.
This is stated on the website of the Belarusian Ministry.
According to the report, the Board of officers ‘ meetings, the air force and air defense forces appealed to the officer corps of the armed forces of Belarus with the offer of full support for Lukashenko in the elections.
“Officers’ Assembly supported the appeal unanimously”, according to the statement.
Earlier, Lukashenko said that he received information that in the country “do not want peace to hold presidential elections” and requested to provide security in the areas.
At present in Belarus the election campaign on elections of the President, the main voting day scheduled for 9 August.
