The new Prime Minister of Iraq, Mustafa al-Kazemi passed through the Ambassador of the Russian Federation Maxim Maximov the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit Baghdad, peredaet RIA "news" with reference to the Prime Minister’s office.
The Iraqi Parliament on 7 may approved the government’s composition al-Kazemi. Maksimov gave the Prime Minister a written message from Putin and Prime Minister Mikhail mishustina, which contained an invitation to visit Moscow.
The Prime Minister said that Iraq appreciates a strong relationship with Russia and President Putin was invited to visit Baghdad.
