On this day in 1935, was opened the first subway. For passengers earned 13 stations on the section from “Sokolniki” to “culture Park” with an offshoot of the “Okhotny Ryad” to “Smolensk”.
Since then, subway has grown to 15 lines (including the Moscow Central ring and the monorail) and 275 stations. In 2019, the movement launched two new sites with a total length of 17.9 kilometer. For passengers earned the first four stations nekrasovskie lines and four stations of the Sokolnicheskaya from Salaryevo to “Kommunarka”.
The plans for the year 2020 is nine metro stations. Six of them are already working. It is a station of the second area of Nekrasovskiy line (“Southeast”, “Okskiy”, “Stakhanov” and “Nizhny Novgorod”), as well as the plot a Great circle line (BKL) from “Aviamotornaya” to “Lefortovo”.
The construction of new lines will be continued. In the long term the longest of them will be Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya, which connects Eastern, Central and South-Western districts of Moscow. By metro you can get from Novokosino in Rasskazovka, and also to Vnukovo airport.
Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line will be extended to the North. Here build the station with the working title “the Street of the 800 anniversary of Moscow” and “Lianozovo”. Also the site plan to extend to the station “Institute”. In addition, the stretch of green between the branches “Kozhukhovo” and “Printers” should appear additional station “South port”.
