It is noted that repeated issuance and receipt of the ballot papers provides for administrative liability (article 5.22 KoAP of the Russian Federation No. 195-FZ of 30.12.2001) and criminal liability (article 142.2 of the criminal code No. 63-FZ of 13.06.1996).
"Please exclude the possibility of such violations of precinct election commissions," the letter said the Secretary.
A nationwide vote on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation was scheduled for 22 April, but then postponed due to the difficult epidemiological situation in the country. Later, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the vote will take place on 1 July. Nizhny Novgorod region, along with Moscow were the two pilot regions, which residents can vote remotely.
