In member countries (including Belarus) this prohibition does not apply. This measure applied by the EEC to ensure market of the Eurasian economic Union necessary foodstuffs.
the Russian agriculture Ministry also noted that Russia fully satisfies domestic demand in the rump. In 2020 the Ministry expects an increase in acreage of buckwheat by 51.6 thousand hectares, to 858,2 thousand ha.
