Minister of economic development RF Maxim Reshetnikov decided to personally check how the banks in difficult business conditions make loans to entrepreneurs who suffer losses due to the pandemic. He called some banks and asked to make an interest-free loan for payment of wages.
15 April, the Russian President announced that the business in a pandemic needs a support system. To businessmen he promised loans at zero interest for 6 months on payment of salaries to its employees.
“I Checked it personally. Called in the two largest banks. In one I explained that the government decision on preferential loans has not been signed yet and the other credit promised to give, but only in may. Drew this to the attention of the banks”, the Minister explained in his instagram.
According to him, the issuance of loans is slow. Of the 3.5 million hits for a total amount of 24 billion rubles, banks approved only 1.5 billion rubles. In this issued really only 400 million rubles.
