Russian President Vladimir Putin is on the path to becoming a virologist. This was stated by the representative of the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov, reports “Interfax”.
According to him, when the head of state firmly immersed in a topic, gathers expert information and he largely becomes an expert.
Peskov recalled the joke of Putin about the fact that in the present circumstances, the whole country has become virologists.
Earlier, on 20 April, the Russian leader held a meeting with virologists on the coronavirus. Then he warned that the peak of distribution of the disease in Russia is still ahead.
The head of state stressed that the situation remains difficult. Thus, according to him, the process of spreading the new virus was able to slow down.
