Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that in some regions yet not enough masks and other protection facilities, beds for patients with coronavirus and medical ventilators. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
“Certainly, there are regions where not yet at a sufficient level are stocks of personal protective equipment, stockpiles of necessary equipment for treatment, especially mechanical ventilation”, – said Peskov.
The representative of the Kremlin noted that the lack of equipment and means of protection in the regions, there are “objective reasons”.
Peskov said that in these regions is very intensive work, including with the participation of the Federal center.
As reported by “the Rambler” at the beginning of last week, Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova said that Russia has deployed 40 thousand beds for patients with coronavirus from 95 thousand is planned.
Golikova noted that the regions are lagging behind Moscow and the region on the incidence of three to four weeks, and urged regional authorities to prepare beds.
