FSB proposed to remove from the Internet data about the international travel of his leadership

the Federal security service plans to clarify the list of information on its activities, which can be posted online. A draft presidential decree posted on Thursday on the portal of projects of normative legal acts.
As stated in the explanatory note to the decree, it is designed “for the purpose of updating the list of information about the activities of the Federal security service of the Russian Federation to be placed in information-telecommunication network “Internet”, reports “Interfax”.
At present, according to the text, this list contains such clauses as “redundant information or information which is in the public domain responding to the specific activity of bodies of Federal security service”.
“In this regard, it is proposed to delete from the list, in particular, information about the tasks and functions of territorial bodies of the security, about the international activities of the FSB of Russia, on visits and trips of heads of FSB of Russia on the results of activities carried out by the FSB of Russia”, – stated in the explanatory note.
Decree does not relate to information about the activities of the FSB, which is mandatory in accordance with the requirements of Federal laws, acts of President and government of the Russian Federation.
